Dr. Jongran Lee was the first Virginia Tech Student to attend NCSA's CAVE training course in the summer of 1996.
From this experience she formed the idea of her dissertation to study the difference when interior designers use the CAVE and when they use a PC with a CRT monitor.
As her case study she designed the new VT-CAVE Laboratory in the Advanced Communications and Information Technology Center (ACITC). This work was summarized as a " Featured Project" on the VT-CAVE web site.
